Saturday Metropolitan racing in Victoria heads to Caulfield for 10 races with the first to commence at 12:15pm local time. The meeting is headlined by three group one events that conclude the day. The features are the Caulfield Guineas where Militarize and Steparty will lock horns. Next, the Toorak Handicap where WA superstar Amelia’s Jewel will take centre stage. What a mouth-watering day of racing!
The track is currently rated as a soft 5. Victorian’s are set for a moderate day with tops of 18 degrees! There’s a touch of rain around; however, not enough to see any major track downgrades.
The rail is in the true position for this meeting. Traditionally with the rail in the true, Caulfield plays extremely fairly. Expect all races to be pace dependent. As always, watch and assess.
