Randwick Race 6 – Big Parade

On paper the TAB Hall Mark Stakes looks a gift for the ever consistent Big Parade. He loves to control these sprint races from the front where he can be difficult to get past in the straight and there looks be a real lack of challengers in the early speed department. He boosts phenomenal stats 2nd-up, at the track, the distance and on wet surfaces. Hard to see any of them taking this on from him.

Randwick Race 8 – Mo’unga

A host of quality runners line up in the G1 All Aged Stakes for the final opportunity at Group 1 glory for the carnival. In contrast to the Hall Marks Stakes there are plenty of in-form runners who will race up on the speed here. Forbidden Love, Shout the Bar, In the Congo, Ellsberg and Overpass have all won black type races recently where they have led, so I’m expecting the speed to be on and for it to be set up for something from the back.

I like Mo’unga 2nd-up up from a spell. Last start in the Futurity at Caufield he didn’t get that speed on up front and finished 2nd behind Sierra Sue. I like the fact he comes to this 2nd-up where most of these have run their grand finals this campaign.

Randwick Race 9 – Huetor
