Belmont Tip Sheet & Staking Plan – Saturday 15th August
August 13, 2020
Belmont Newmarket day is usually a beauty and the fields are no different with some quality horses going around. The track should start the day in the soft 5 range but should get worse as the day wears on with some serious rain forecast for Saturday, which could leave us with a soft 7/heavy 8 come the final few races of the day, making things a little trickier than usual. Rail goes out 10m, and given it was out 15m on the Wednesday, the inside lanes will be relatively untouched and more than likely the A1 ground, meaning there should be a lean to an advantage to be up on speed, particularly early in the day.
