Saturday Metropolitan racing in Victoria heads to Ballarat for 10 races with the first to commence at 12:10pm local time. The headline race is the 2023 Listed Ballarat Cup featuring the likes of Young Werther and Just Folk.

The track is currently rated as a good 4. Victorian’s are set for a cool day with tops of 18 degrees! There’s plenty of rain forecasted to fall on race day which will see this track be downgraded into the soft range.

The rail is out 2m for this meeting. Traditionally with the rail out 2m, Ballarat favours horses who are drawn inside barriers. As always, watch and assess.
