Four NFL tackles traded this week

The National Football League regular season begins next week. This week teams have been very busy making trades. Among the players traded were four more tackles after the Philadelphia Eagles were involved in two deals with offensive tackles. Let us take a look at these four offensive tackles who were on the move.
Austin Deculus
The native of Mamou, Louisiana was traded from the Houston Texans to the Los Angeles Chargers for a seventh round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. Deculus (pictured right) was with the Texans the last three seasons. He was initially the Texans sixth round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, 205th overall, out of Louisiana State University. Deculus played 13 games for the Texans before being traded on Tuesday.
Michael Jerrell
The native of Indianapolis, Indiana played 10 games last season with the Seattle Seahawks. He was then traded from the Seahawks to the Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday for a seventh round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. Jerrell was the sixth round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, 207th overall, out of the University of Findlay.
K.T. Leveston
The native of Waco, Texas was traded from the Los Angeles Rams to the Cleveland Browns for the seventh round pick in the 2028 NFL Draft on Tuesday. Leveston was the Rams seventh round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, 254th overall, out of Kansas State. Leveston never played for the Rams.
 Asim Richards
The native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was traded from the Dallas Cowboys to the New Orleans Saints with a seventh round pick in the 2028 NFL Draft for a sixth round pick in the 2028 NFL Draft on Tuesday. Richards played 21 games with the Cowboys over the last two seasons and had a solo tackle in a 34-26 Cowboys win over the Washington Commanders on November 24. He was a fifth round pick, 169th overall, in the 2023 NFL Draft out of the University of North Carolina.
