EPL Matchweek 16 Preview: Our Expert Tips & Staking Plan
December 27, 2020
The packed fixture list means this set of picks is out before the last set has even ended. There are some more great games. Depth is always important this time of the year. The games come thick and fast so teams that can rotate always have an advantage.
Season Results:
- Will update when game week 15 ends
Note: I will add to these picks as more markets become available following today’s games
Chelsea v Aston Villa
A massive let down from Chelsea against Arsenal but they can bounce back quickly here. I already mentioned how important depth is with just one day off between games and they have so much strength throughout the squad. They can get the win here and get back on track.

Burnley v Sheffield United
Sheffield United are setting records. Unfortunately the sort you don’t want. They are off to the worst start in Premier League history. Burnley are a solid team and these are the sort of games they have to win.
- 1 unit Burnley 2.38 with TopSport
Southampton v West Ham
Southampton continue their good form this season and they can do so once again against West Ham. They are a really solid team and they can start a push for a European spot with a win to round out their 2020.
- 1 unit Southampton 2.13 with TopSport
Brighton v Arsenal
Arsenal finally started their younger players and it paid off massively with a big, and much needed win over Chelsea. It may be worth holding off on backing this one until nearer kick off. But as long as Arteta sticks with the likes of Martinelli, Saka and Smith-Rowe then they should have plenty to unlock this Brighton team.
