The Philadelphia Eagles made their second significant signing of the week as they came to terms with offensive lineman Le’Raven Clark according to NBC Sports on Wednesday. Clark, a native of Bryan, Texas is entering his fifth National Football League season after four seasons with the Indianapolis Colts.
Clark, who has played right guard and offensive tackle in his career, has started 15 games over the last four seasons. He has played 47 games overall.
Initially selected in the third round, 82nd overall in the 2016 National Football League Draft, Clark played college football at Texas Tech. While with the Red Raiders, he was named to the first team All-Big 12 Conference squad thrice, and was a freshman All-American.
It should be noted that Clark is coming a torn Achilles he suffered from week 13 during the 2020 regular season. The injury came in the Colts 26-20 win over the Houston Texans.

With the Eagles, Clark will be reacquainted with Nick Sirriani. Over the last three seasons, Sirriani had been the offensive co-ordinator of the Colts before being named the Philadelphia head coach on January 24. Sirriani took over from Doug Pederson, who the Eagles fired on January 11,
The coaching change in Philadelphia was no surprise after Pederson controversially played inexperienced quarterback Nate Sudfeld in the Eagles final game of the regular season against the Washington Football Team. The reason for the controversy is because at the time the game was huge for Washington, and it made it seem like the Eagles were not trying to win the game, and were evaluating players instead.
