In addition to winning an Olympic gold medal in men’s doubles, Nestor won 12 grand slam doubles titles. Eight grand slam titles came in men’s doubles, and four grand slam titles came in mixed doubles. Nestor won the 2002 Australian Open, 2004 United States Open, and 2007 French Open with Mark Knowles of the Bahamas. Knowles made tennis headlines back in February when he became the coach of Jessica Pegula of the United States. Nestor also won 2008 Wimbledon, 2009 Wimbledon, and the 2010 French Open with Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia, and then the 2011 and 2012 French Open with Max Mirnyi of Belarus.

Meanwhile, in mixed doubles, Nestor won the Australian Open three times and Wimbledon once. He teamed up with Elena Likhovtseva of Russia to win the Australian Open in 2007, Katarina Srebotnik of Slovenia to win the Australian Open in 2011, and Kristina Mladenovic of France to win Wimbledon in 2013, and the Australian Open in 2014.

At the singles level, Nestor reached the fourth round of Wimbledon in 2014, The biggest singles win of his career came at the Davis Cup in Vancouver in 1992. Nestor defeated Stefan Edbeg of Sweden, 4-6, 6-3, 1-6, 6-3, 6-4.
