Anthony’s 28289 total points are ninth all-time in NBA history. His former Lakers teammate, LeBron James is the all-time leader with 38652 points. Anthony’s most magical game came on January 24, 2014. On this night he scored 62 points in a 125-96 New York Knicks win over the Charlotte Bobcats at Madison Square Garden. Anthony is 15th on the all-time list among NBA players for most points in a single game.
Anthony did not win the NBA Finals. However, he had one great college season with Syracuse University in 2002-03, where he was the most outstanding player of the 2003 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball tournament, and guided the Orangemen to their first college basketball title in school history. From there, Anthony was the third overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Nuggets. He was only drafted behind James by the Cleveland Cavaliers and Darko Milicic by the Detroit Pistons.
Does Anthony have the credentials to be a Hall of Famer? The answer is yes.
