He went to the front and was able to go on with it recording impressive time. He should appreciate the wet track with a 2: 1-1-0 Soft track record but this will be the most he has got his toe into the ground. He maps to roll forward in a race where there is only one other runner with a similar settling pattern.

The Clarry Conners gelding ticks a few boxes dropping back from much stronger Saturday company where he hasn’t been too far off the mark with a 3.4L 6th and 2.6L 4th at Rosehill and Randwick his last 2 starts. He has wins on both the Soft and the Heavy and looks ready to peak at each way odds.
