Black Book: Horses You Must Follow From Rosehill 3/12
December 5, 2022
Our form analyst has looked over the replays & sectional times from Rosehill on Saturday and has placed his list of horses you must follow below.
KING OF CLUBS
There was a sprinkling of money for him which suggested he was ready to run well first-up over 2000 metres and if it wasn’t for the presence of his rock-hard fit stablemate Zoumon he would have won. He settled a long way back and worked home running his last 600 metres in 34.29 seconds.
GARZA BLANCA
Slow to begin and then was held up for a run early in the straight. He finished strongly but couldn’t catch the front runner Felix Majestic who had kicked clear. His closing sectionals according to Punters Intelligence were impressive clocking 21.64 seconds for his last 400 metres and then a sub 11 second split for his last 200m of 10.90 seconds.
FRUMOS
She looked great but there was a concern with where she would get to from barrier one and that’s why she drifted out to $3.60 favourite. The drift proved correct as Kerrin McEvoy was blocked for the entire straight on her. She will bounce back quickly.
I AM ME
Ciaron Maher and Dave Eustace have another potential sprinting star in the four-year-old daughter of I Am Invincible who made it two from two this campaign in Sydney with an easy win. She controlled the tempo out in the lead and even though she was eased down close to the post she still managed to record the fastest last 200 metres of the meeting clocking 10.81 seconds.
