The replays and sectionals have been reviewed from Wednesday’s Kensington meeting. Our analyst has black booked a sharp 2yo winner and a Snowden runner that ran well against the pattern of the day.
Reachin’ Out
The Waterhouse/Bott 2yo filly was an impressive 3.9L winner going straight to the front and showing a big kick to record 1:04.91 for 1100m, which was 0.2s quicker than the colts two races later. She looks a nice jump and run type and we could see her land in a stronger Saturday race.Â

Grand Prairie
The Snowden colt fairly before being forced to settle at the rear from the outside gate. He was 5L off the leader at the 600m on a day where the previous 3 winners had either led or sat outside lead. He wanted to lay in a little at the top of the straight before producing a strong finish down the outside. His 35.82s final 600m was the fastest of the race. Being a gross colt I think he should be close to peaking 3rd up. I expect further improvement, particularly from a better gate.Â
