Black Book: Horses You Must Follow From Caulfield 26/11
November 29, 2022
Our form analyst has looked over the replays & sectional times from Rosehill on Saturday and has placed his list of horses you must follow below.
GANGITANO
Very impressive debut from the son of Written By. Craig Williams elected to go back from his wide draw and let him settle. He ended up a clear last. He finished off very strongly running his last 200 metres in 22.39 seconds, which was the second fastest for the meeting despite racing greenly ti finish third. He was strong after the line. He has a huge future.
JIGSAW
He’s flying over the sprint distances this time in. He’s got the speed to dominate in the early stages and he can also take a sit as he did in this victory. He comfortably held Rose Quartz and was also strong after the line.
BELMIA
She’s coming along very nicely. Gave away a huge start in the race where The Unicorn charged away which made it difficult for the backmarkers to get into the race. That was only her third start and she’s a filly with potential.
THE FORTUNE TELLER
It might have been a campaign ending run but he underlined that he’s got a big future with his second in the Sandown Guineas after sitting four wide throughout. Despite this he looked a winning chance halfway up the straight and still fought on to finish second.
