Black Book: Horses You Must Follow From Caulfield 15/10
October 17, 2022

Our form analyst has looked over the replays & sectional times from Caulfield Cup day and has placed his list of horses you must follow below.
DUKE OF DUBAI
Big run to finish fifth behind St Bathans as he missed the start by four lengths. Even looked a winning chance with 200m to go when he swept into it but he died slightly on his run.
DISTRUSTFUL AWARD
Was left a little flat footed when Mr Maestro put the pressure on before the turn. Stuck to his guns to finish third and shapes as if the extra distance of the Victoria Derby will suit him.

LIBIAMO
She gave away too big a start in the Alinghi Stakes but she stretched out really nicely over the last 200m to gain fifth. There might be a race down the straight for during Cup week over 1200m. View PLAYUP Racing Markets Here
VOW AND DECLARE
He’s right back in town. Great run to finish sixth after never being on the track. He covered 20 metres further than the winner. If he draws a good gate he can make it two Melbourne Cup wins.

TRALEE ROSE
Best run for some time. She would have finished closer than 13th in the Caulfield Cup bar for being cut out with 300m to go by Michael Dee and Durston, a move which saw him suspended. She was only beaten 4.15 lengths. It’s probably on to the Melbourne Cup again but if she went to the Queen Elizabeth Stakes she’d be ready to go close. View Our NEW Form Guide Here
