Best Of The Best – Rosehill 16th of November

Sydney Midweek Metropolitan racing heads to Rosehill on Wednesday.

Rosehill R4 8. Green Shadows

First-up finished 5th 2.2L over 1300m, beaten 1.7L by Deep Snow. Green Shadows sat 3 wide no cover the trip whilst Deep Snow sat outside leader up on the slow speed and enjoyed a far better run. Green Shadows will improve fitnesswise off that run and gets his chance to turn the tables with a 2.5kg weight swing.

Rosehill R5 7. Newley Wed

Very good on dry tracks in first 2 starts. Won 1/3 last prep with the other 2 efforts disappointing. Resumed this prep with a big first-up run, when $2.4 to come from well back in the field and almost pick up the leader/winner who enjoyed the run of the race. Maps nicely here and Tommy Berry takes the ride.

Rosehill R6 8. Tidal Rush

He went fresh into the run 2 back and was held-up in the straight. Clear running last start and 2 weeks between runs and won convincingly, running solid late splits. Big step up in grade but nicely weighted. Maps very nicely.
