November 16, 2021
A rare midweek meeting at Rosehill presents a couple of runners that I expect to run well at decent odds.

Rosehill Race 4 – Nothinsweetaboutme
- Trainer: Waterhouse & Bott
- Jockey: T Clark
- Barrier: 7
Nothinsweetabout me is a lightly raced mare from the Waterhouse & Bott yard that I expect to improve sharply 2nd up. She raced on the speed and fitness gave out the final furlong when 2L behind Norwegian Bliss at Canterbury last start. That horse came out and won a Saturday race on the weekend. The step up to 1500m in a race where she should easily control things in front looks ideal.
In her debut preparation she finished 4th in the G3 Kembla Classic.
Tip: 2 Units Win Nothinsweetaboutme @$6 with TopSport
Rosehill Race 6 – Francesco Guardi
- Trainer: C Waller
- Jockey: J McDonald
- Barrier: 2
Francesco Guardi is an Irish import that ran well in a stronger Saturday race when 4th behind Zoushack and Blesk last start. I love that J Mac has jumped on and will pilot from barrier 2 where he camp camp his mount just behind the speed and hopefully be too strong late. It’s not often we are quoted $6.5 for this trainer jockey combination.
Tip: 2 Units Win Francesco Guardi @$6.5 with TopSport
