Giving Money From the Sky another chance here after he worked home well to finish 3rd last start at Kensington over 1400m. I think the gate 8 compared to 1 last start will be better suited where Sherry should find it easier to get to the outside part of the track. Stepping up from 1400m to 1550m 2nd-up after 3 barrier trials is also a tick, although he has never seen a wet track at the races or trials.

I notice that he is still a nomination for the G1 Randwick Guineas on Saturday which suggest Newnham must believe he is better than this level.

Roots impressed with a last victory at Warwick Farm. She looks a progressive type with McDonald sticking here. She maps to take up a spot around midfield and showed she has a strong finish in the last start victory. She’s 2:1-1-0 on wet tracks and looks a great bet to end the day.
