Willing to take good odds with this Godolphin 3yo purely off the map. It is a hot little 3 and 4yo BM72 with a couple of more fancied runners bringing big wins from the lower grades but it’s clear that there are multiple leaders in Rules of Law, Never Second and Miss Baltimore with a few other on speed runners to kick up behind them. This had led me to lightweight chance Retrieval who will settle back in the field and hopefully come home strong. He was unlucky at Warwick Farm 1st up before winning well at Canterbury last star.

Canasta is duel nominated in a race that he’s emergency for later in the day but if connections chose to stick with this race I want to be on. Canasta is a noted front runner and it looks like he will get a cake walk in front here. Baker’s horses are always fit and tough to get past late.

Zegalo was stiff last start when pocketed up the straight before storming home for an eye-catching 3rd behind Dhukari. He profiles well here over the same distance and at peak fitness 4th up from a spell for the Waller camp.
