Rosehill Race 6 –  Tycoonist

Tycoonist found a heap of trouble last start on this track. The Waller mare settled last from a wide barrier and found the heels of multiple horse when the whips were cracking up the straight.

When she finally saw daylight she charged home for an impressive 3rd. If J-Mac can keep her out of trouble from barrier 2, she should be very hard to beat.

Rosehill Race 7 – The Lord Mayor

The Lord Mayor is a grinding stayer that looks to have found a nice race here. Last start he raced against a similar field and settled just off the speed and held his spot to finish 3rd behind Polly Grey and Parry Sound. Polly Grey won’t contest this race and Parry Sound has since gone up to 2400m and comes back to 2000m here.

At $12 he looks great value and you can expect him to be somewhere near the finish.

Rosehill Race 8 – Katalin

James McDonald looks to have a great book of rides as he attempts to wrap up the Sydney Jockey’s Premiership and this looks to be another great ride.

Katalin is a Godolphin mare that has returned from injury in great order. After a 62 week lay off, she was sensational winning by 3L at the midweeks.

James Cummings has since given her 4 weeks to recover from that run and the fact that she has trialled nicely behind Skedaddle during that time suggests that the let-up hasn’t been as a result from injury.

There appears to be a bit of quality about this one.
