Home Affairs steps out for his debut after he showed he is a 2yo to watch out for at his one and only trial to date where he won by 2L at Rosehill. He led all the way to win by 2L without being asked to do too much. When Sam Clipperton gave him a shake at the top of the straight he showed the acceleration you love to see from 2yos learning their craft.

The wet track is the query like it will be for most of these juveniles but I believe there is an expectation that this guy will be running with a Golden Slipper watch on him.

Rosehill Race 4 – Word For Word

Word For Word steps up to 2000m and looks beautifully placed in his 4^th run this preparation coming off a 3-week break. Although his last start 9^th to Sacramento doesn’t look great on paper, he was only 3.7L away and I believe that race was much stronger than the one many of his rivals, including winner Harpo Marx have come from.

I see Vadiyann and Harpo Marx as the two biggest dangers. Vadiyann will press forward with a big weight to lump and Harpo Marx will be back at the rear from the wide gate. Word For Word maps to get the perfect run just off the speed, I love the J-Mac booking and I can see him being too strong late.
