Randwick Race 6 – Toomuchtobear
Toomuchtobear looks to have plenty in his favour in this 2000m BM 88. The Waller 4yo should be peaking after two pleasing runs this prep. He surprised 1st up at Randwick when he stormed home from the rear of the field to win nicely. He backed that performance up with 2nd at Kensington on New Years Day. I feel the tight Kensington circuit wasn’t ideal for him and coming back to Randwick and stepping up to 2000m where he will cam behind the speed and get the run of the race from gate 1.
Tip: 2 Units Win Toomuchtobear @$2.2 With TopSport
Randwick Race 8 – Holyfield
Sticking with Holyfield on the 7 day back-up here after an outstanding run in the Listed Magic Millions Cup where he only went down by the smallest of margins at big odds. He does have a sticky gate which leaves him at risk of being 3 wide but he does have the speed to overcome that scenario.
Tip: 2 Units Win Holyfield @$7.5 with TopSport
Randwick Race 10 – Waihaha Falls
Waihaha Falls returns from a 4-week let up on the back of a 6th on this track that was better than it looks on paper. He sat 3-wide the trip and looked like holding on for third until tiring late and being swamped by a few other runners. Before that he was an impressive winner over 1500m at Rosehill. Berry should get the chance to cross from the wide gate and be in a handy position.
Tip: 1 Unit Win Waihaha Falls @$4.5 withTopSport
