Randwick Race 4 – La Chevalee
La Chevalee is a smart mare that looks destined to break through for her first win this campaign. On a day where nothing was making ground, she charged home from the rear on the worst part of the track to finish 2.3L behind Papal Warrior.
The ultra consistent Zing looks a real threat but she does get in with 3.5kg less than that mare. With fairer conditions on Saturday, she should be charging home in the finish.

Randwick Race 7 – Great House
Great House is another who flashed home on the worst part of the track when nothing was making ground at Rosehill a fortnight ago. The Waller camp seem to be getting on top of a few of his bad habits and looks a great bet here.

Randwick Race 9 – Expat
Expat has been terrific winning his last two starts at Rosehill and whilst it is always difficult for horses to build a picket fence of victories at this level, trainer Mark Newnham seems to have pulled a smart move by engaging top apprentice Tom Sherry and his 2 kg claim.
As a result Expat only carry an extra kg dropping back to fillies and mares company at the same benchmark. Expect her to camp off Fortune Seeker and hopefully hit the front halfway up the straight.
