Randwick Race 7 – She’s Ideel

She’s Ideel comes to the G1 Sydney Cup after a sensational run in the Tancred Stakes where she settled at the rear and flew home to finish 2.3L away in second in what looks like the perfect trial for the Sydney Cup.

She drops 7kg under handicap conditions and whilst a couple of these overseas raiders look tough to beat, it’s hard not to like the Australian mares chances at better value.

Tip: 2 Units win She’s Ideel @$7 With TopSport

Randwick Race 8 – Very Elleegant

Sticking with this superstar mare when she meets Addeybb in another blockbuster. She seems to be getting better with every run and there’s no doubt the drier surface suits her better than her Europearn rival. The $2.5 still looks like great value in what looks to be another match race.

Tip: 3 Units Win Verry Elleegant @$2.5 With TopSport

Randwick Race 9 – Probabeel

Probabeel returns home to Sydney after a successful Melbourne campaign that included wins in the G3 Bellmaine and G1 Futurity and finished with a disappointing effort in the All Star Mile.

We could’ve been wary of her training off after that run but from what we saw at the trials that should’t be the case.

She settled at the rear of the field and looked as though she was in for a quiet trial to keep her ticking over. McEvoy stoked her up before the turn when she was some 10 lengths off the lead and she rattled home amazing sectionals to win the trial showing she’s still got plenty of that competitive grit in the tank this preparation. The time was a whole second quicker than the only other 1200m trial on the morning.

Tip: 2 Units Win Probabeel @$2.5 With TopSport
