Randwick Race 4 – Stockman

Interestingly the two main form races for this year’s Christmas Cup are BM 78 races that have been run at Rosehill the last two weeks. Stockman charged home from the rear a fortnight ago to finish 3^rd. He drops 6.5kg from that day which is 5.5kg better than 2^nd place finisher Windermere. There doesn’t appear to be a whole lot of pace in the race which will play more into Windermere’s hands but if they do run a strong 2400m, this guy will be charging home late.

Randwick Race 6 – Threeood

Threeood returned from a spell in fantastic order a fortnight ago flying home to win by 1.3L. She steps up to a BM 88 on Saturday but will do it against the mares where she looks very well placed. All her main rivals in the market look to be horses that will be taking each other on in front which will suit her racing pattern. Her second-up record reads strong (4:1-1-1) and she looks to be a mare in great form.

Randwick Race 7 – Athiri

This Godolphin trained mare has been freshened after a successful spring campaign, which saw her win two consecutive races at Randwick before finishing 3^rd in the G3 Nivision. She returned to training with an impressive trial win where she led all the way. Cummings is throwing her straight back amongst the black type in the Listed Razor Sharp Handicap. She looks to be a horse on the rise with a light weight and should run a great race.
