Randwick Race 3 – Destination

This Exceed and Excel colt finished less than half a length behind Wild Ruler in the Heritage Stakes last start. The start before he finished the same margin behind Prime Star, that form looks solid enough for this and he gets in well under the set weight conditions.

Barrier 2 looks a big tick as it will allow him to settle just better than midfield. On the Lead looks his main rival but may have to settle at the rear from a sticky gate.

Randwick Race 6 – Peltzer

Peltzer is hardly the reliable type but this looks like his type of race. He should get an easy lead with Street Dancer being the only other likely on pace runner. He was dominant last start over 1500m defeating his main rival here, Prime Star, by half a length. Prime Star will be forced to go back from an awkward gate and may be required to do too much too late off a slow tempo.

Mooney Valley Race 9 – Probabeel

Probabeel is a mare in form this Spring and looks to be a great bet at each way odds here. Russian Camelot and Arcadia Queen’s Melbourne form have to be respected but this Kiwi Mare has had a tremendous campaign coming off wins in the Epsom and Bill Ritchie Handicaps and could join Sunline in being crowned the best weight for age horse in Australasia.

Weight For Age conditions are tougher but she still gets in well with 55.5kg for a mare that is in the prime of her career. She is tough as nails and although there might be one or two that may have the touch of brilliance over her, you know she is going to give it her all and that is enough to have a decent each way lash at the odds.
