AFL: Who Is Going To Win The Big Medals?

WITH the AFL season fast heading to its conclusion with six rounds to go it’s time to have a look at the two prestigious medals and who will win the Brownlow and the Coleman Medal.

The Brownlow Medal appears to be down to two players and the betting suggests it’s almost one.

The players are Collingwood’s wunderkind Nick Daicos who is $1.50 favourite with Playup and Melbourne star Christian Petracca who is at $5.

Daicos is in front in every award and Brownlow Medal predictors have him as high as 30 votes.

Petracca isn’t far away in all of these predictions and he has hit his best form in recent weeks.

Daicos though isn’t show any signs of tiring in his second season as he goes from strength to strength.

He could represent value. The Western Bulldogs’ Marcus Bontempelli is also high up in predictions and he is $11 third favourite.

Carlton’s Charlie Curnow is $2.10 favourite to win his second Coleman Medal in a row. He has kicked 51 goals with Adelaide’s Taylor Walker next on 50 goals and he is $3 with Playup.

North’s Nick Larkey is equal third on 45 goals with the Cats Tom Hawkins.

Larkey though is $8 and Hawkins is at $11. Hawkins has returned to his best form in recent weeks and could prove to be the value goal kicker.
