In the 30th of a 32-part series, we are featuring all National Football League teams with a prediction of where each team will finish within their division, key off-season acquisitions and their top fantasy stars. Here are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Key Off-Season Acquisition
The outside linebacker from Camden, New Jersey signed a one-year contract worth $14 million. The Buccaneers are Reddick’s fifth NFL team as he has previously played four seasons with the Arizona Cardinals (2017 to 2020), one season with the Carolina Panthers (2021), two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles (2022 and 2023), and one season with the New York Jets (2024). In 10 games with the Jets in 2024, Reddick had 14 combined tackles (nine solo tackles and five assisted tackles), two tackles for a loss, three quarterback hits, one sack, one pass deflection and one forced fumble. The forced fumble came in a 32-20 Jets win over the Miami Dolphins on January 5.
Fantasy Stars
Quarterback Baker Mayfield of Austin, Texas is ranked third among quarterbacks. In 2024, he completed 407 passes in 570 attempts for 4500 yards with 41 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. Mayfield also had 60 rushes for 378 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.
Wide receiver Mike Evans of Galveston, Texas is ranked seventh among wide receivers. In 2024, he had 74 catches for 1004 receiving yards and 11 touchdown catches.
Kicker Chase McLaughlin of Cypress, Texas is ranked sixth among kickers. In 2024, he made 30 of 32 field goals and 54 of 56 converts.
Projected Finish
Mayfield had the finest season of his NFL career in 2025 with 4500 passing yards. You could make the argument that he is the most underrated quarterback in the NFL. The Buccaneers win the NFC South Division for the fifth straight year.
