2024 NFL Week 2 Preview: Our Expert Tips & Staking Plan

What a great start in week one! Some big wins and getting a moneyline win from a huge underdog in the Patriots was a fantastic way to kick off the season.

I will likely be adding some more picks before the games so make sure to check back.

Seattle Seahawks @ New England Patriots

The Patriots got a huge win in week one on the road at the much fancied Cincinnati Bengals. It wasn’t always pretty but the formula they had for that one can carry them through in this one. Tough defence and a strong run game could work well against a Seahawks team that is good, but not great.

The big matchup here will be DK Metcalf vs Christian Gonzlaez. The Patriots corner has been incredible since coming into the league and last week had Ja’Marr Chase completely wrapped up. It will be a big key for New England here.

I do not expect this to be a game full of highlights, but the Patriots can make this one ugly and grind out another win in their home opener.

New York Giants @ Tennessee Titans

There is no quarterback in the league that I believe in less than Will Levis. To me, he is so far from NFL level, and I will take every opportunity to bet against him while he is in the league.

The Jets were not too impressive in week one, but not many teams will be up against the 49ers. They can bounce back strongly here and I believe the matchup should suit them well, even on the road.

Cleveland Browns @ Jacksonville Jaguars

I think both teams hugely disappointed in week one, but in slightly different ways. The Jags showed something and once again fell away, but the Browns were awful. With the Jags we have seen that too many times before, but the Browns I am happy to write that one off as shaking off the rust and think they can bounce back in week two.

I think Clevleand just has much better talent throughout and the defence can power them to a win here.

Chicago Bears @ Houston Texans

Things maybe didn’t start out that hot for the Bears, but they got the win, even if it was not that impressive. But I believe this team is much better than what they showed there and they can raise it a level or two in a game that should suit them. There is a lot less pressure on Caleb Williams here as they cone in  as underdogs. I expect the passing game to be opened up and he could thrive. They could cause a big upset in this one.
