2024 Indianapolis Colts Projected Finish, Key Signings and Fantasy Stars

In the 14th of a 32-part series, we are featuring all National Football League teams with a prediction of where each team will finish within their division, key off-season acquisitions and their top fantasy stars. Here are the Indianapolis Colts.
Key Off Season Acquisition
The most significant acquisition made by the Colts in the offseason came on defense as they signed defensive tackle Raekwon Davis of Meridian, Mississippi to a two-year deal worth $14 million. Davis spent the last four seasons with the Miami Dolphins. This past season, Davis had 28 combined tackles (15 solo tackles and 13 assisted tackles), six quarterback hits, two tackles for a loss and half a sack. The two tackles for a loss came in a Dolphins’s 24-17 win over the New England Patriots on September 17, and in a 31-16 Dolphins’s 31-16 win over the New York Giants on October 8.
Fantasy Stars
Indianapolis has two players ranked in the top 10 at their fantasy position. At quarterback, Anthony Richardson of Miami, Florida is ranked seventh. In 2023, he completed 50 passes in 84 attempts for 577 passing yards, three touchdowns and one interception, along with 25 rushes for 136 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. Richardson’s season was short-lived because of a week five shoulder injury that required surgery.
At running back, Jonathan Taylor is ranked third behind Christian McCaffrey of the San Francisco 49ers and Breece Hall of the New York Jets. In 2023, Taylor had 169 rushes for 741 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, along with 19 catches for 153 receiving yards and one touchdown catch. The touchdown catch was for 10 yards and came in a 27-13 Colts win over the Carolina Panthers on November 5.
Projected Finish
Yesterday I picked the Houston Texans to pick the AFC South. The Colts should be competitive, and I think a record around the .500 mark is attainable. At this time, I have Indianapolis finishing third.
