SYDNEY ROOSTERS VS ST GEORGE-ILLAWARRA DRAGONS –Â SATURDAY JULY 16, 3:00PM, CENTRAL COAST STADIUM
The Tricolours haven’t been so low on the ladder at this time of the year since their 15th-place finish in 2016, meaning we’ll have to see something special from Trent Robinson’s men to get back into premiership contention.
The Dragons will be looking to channel their gritty, Ben Hunt-inspired 14-12 upset of the Tricolours in Round 7. The Anzac Day result snapped a seven-match losing streak against the Roosters for the Saints.

WESTS TIGERS VS PENRITH PANTHERS –Â SUNDAY JULY 17, 2:00PM, COMMBANK STADIUM
No fewer than seven of Ivan Cleary’s men are part of the Blues squad for the series decider, so the Panthers mentor could be weighing up the possibility of resting players with eight rounds to go in the regular season.
MELBOURNE STORM VS CANBERRA RAIDERS –Â SUNDAY JULY 17, 4:05PM, AAMI PARK
Consecutive losses to Manly and Cronulla have set the Storm back on their heels but they’ll be hoping a return to home soil can spark a turnaround on Sunday.
After the Raiders’ three-match purple patch in the rivalry in 2019-20, the Storm have won the last five straight between the clubs by an average margin of 14.8 points. Jahrome Hughes, Ryan Papenhuyzen and Munster lit up Wagga Wagga in a 30-16 win over Canberra in Round 5.
- Â 2 units ($200) Storm -11.5 @ $2.00
