2022 NBA Conference Semifinals determined

We now know the other three teams that will be joining the Miami Heat in the NBA Conference Finals. They are the Dallas Mavericks, Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics.
On Friday, Klay Thompson of Los Angeles, California led the Warriors offensive attack with 30 points, including eight three-pointers in a 110-96 win over the Memphis Grizzlies, and won the best out of seven series four games to two. However, what was the most impressive statistic was the fact that center Kevon Looney of Milwaukee, Wisconsin had 22 rebounds for the Warriors. That was a career high for him in the regular season or playoffs.
On Sunday, there were two game sevens. After the Boston Celtics beat the Milwaukee Bucks 108-95 to tie their Eastern Conference semifinal series at three games apiece thanks to 46 points from Jayson Tatum on Friday, Boston came through with a 109-81 win in the deciding game. After a relatively even first half where Boston only led Milwaukee 48-43, the Celtics outscored the Bucks 61-38 in the final 24 minutes. Boston will now play Miami in the Eastern Final starting Tuesday.
The Celtics leading scorer in game seven was Grant Williams of Houston, Texas with 27 points. Meanwhile, Marcus Smart of Flower Mound, Texas had a surprise double-double (11 points and 10 assists). The reason why his scoreline could have been a surprise is because the defensive player of the year did not reach double digits in rebounds.
Meanwhile in the other Conference Semifinal game seven on Sunday, the Dallas Mavericks clobbered the Phoenix Suns 123-90. The Mavericks had a 57-27 lead over the Suns after the first half, and a 92-50 lead over the Suns after the third quarter. Guard Luka Doncic of Ljubljana, Slovenia led Dallas with 35 points and 10 rebounds for the double-double. It was one of the worst games in Chris Paul’s career. Despite 10 points and zero turnovers. he was an awful -39, the worst plus/minus he has ever had in a single NBA game, regular season or playoffs. Dallas and Golden State will start Wednesday.
