Sydney midweek racing heads west to Warwick Farm on what will be a rain affected surface. Our analyst has selected a Baker 3yo returning on the back of a couple of sharp trials and a proven Ciaron Maher wet tracker as the value play.
Best Selection: R7 – Stallone
Stallone has returned with 2 outstanding trials and profiles really nicely as Baker runner that recorded massive 3.6L and 7.5L victories at Orange last prep. He gets a lovely run behind the speed from Gate 2 and Morgan sticks from the trials.
Value Selection: R6 – Naval Commission
Naval Commission ticks a lot of boxes here coming off a 1.3L 2nd over 1550m at Canterbury 1st up on a Heavy 8. He should strip fitter off that run and has an outstanding 5: 3-1-0 Heavy track record. He gets J Mac in the saddle and can only get a dream run from Gate 6 with 2 scratchings drawn underneath.
