The power forward from Tempe, Arizona is joining his sixth NBA franchise after four seasons with the Sacramento Kings, three seasons each with the Detroit Pistons and Washington Wizards, and one season each with the Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks. In 2025-26 with the Wizards and Mavericks, Bagley averaged 10.5 points per game, 6.1 rebounds per game and 1.4 assists per game.
