The National Basketball Association free agency commenced on Wednesday. Here are the top 10 players who switched teams.

10) Marvin Bagley III

Bagley signed a one-year deal worth $3.5 million with the Denver Nuggets according to hoopshype.com. The power forward from Tempe, Arizona is joining his sixth NBA franchise after four seasons with the Sacramento Kings, three seasons each with the Detroit Pistons and Washington Wizards, and one season each with the Memphis Grizzlies and Dallas Mavericks. In 2025-26 with the Wizards and Mavericks, Bagley averaged 10.5 points per game, 6.1 rebounds per game and 1.4 assists per game. He had a field goal percentage of .618, three point percentage of .462, and free throw percentage of .647.


9) Sandro Mamukelashvili

Mamukelashvili signed a four-year contract worth $52 million with the Los Angeles Lakers. The center from New York, New York is joining his fourth NBA franchise after two seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, three seasons with the San Antonio Spurs and one season with the Toronto Raptors. In 2025-26, Mamukelashvili was with the Raptors, and averaged 11.2 points per game, 4.9 rebounds per game, and 1.9 assists per game. He had a field goal percentage of .523, three point percentage of .389, and free throw percentage of .747.


8) Tobias Harris

The power forward from Islip, New York signed a two-year contract worth $31 million with the Spurs. Harris is joining his sixth NBA franchise after two seasons with the Bucks, four seasons with the Orlando Magic, five seasons with the Pistons, two seasons with the Los Angeles Clippers and six seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers. In 2025-26 with the Pistons, Harris averaged 13.3 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game and 2.5 assists per game. He had a field goal percentage of .469, three point percentage of .368, and free throw percentage of .866.


7) Quentin Grimes

The shooting guard from Houston, Texas signed a four-year contract worth $60 million with the Lakers. Grimes is joining his fifth NBA franchise after three seasons with the New York Knicks, one season each with the Pistons and Mavericks, and two seasons with the 76ers. In 2025-26 with the 76ers, Grimes averaged 13.4 points per game, 3.6 rebounds per game and 3.3 assists per game. He had a field goal percentage of .450, three point percentage of .334, and free throw percentage of .840.


6) Tim Hardaway Jr.

The shooting guard from Orinda, California signed a one-year contract worth $6 million with the Miami Heat. Hardaway Jr. is joining his sixth NBA team after four seasons with the Knicks, two seasons with the Atlanta Hawks, six seasons with the Mavericks, and one season each with the Pistons and Nuggets. In 2025-26 with the Nuggets, he averaged 13.5 points per game, 2.6 rebounds per game and 1.4 assists per game. Hardaway Jr. had a field goal percentage of .447, three point percentage of .407 and a free throw percentage of .811.



5) John Collins

The power forward from Layton, Utah signed a three-year contract worth $51 million with the Pistons. Collins is joining his fourth NBA franchise after six seasons with the Hawks, two seasons with the Utah Jazz and one season with the Clippers. In 2025-26 with the Clippers, Collins averaged 13.6 points per game, 5.3 rebounds per game, and one assist per game. He had a field goal percentage of .552, three point percentage of .406, and a free throw percentage of .766.



4) Kelly Oubre Jr.

The small forward from New Orleans, Louisiana signed a two-year contract worth $17 million with the Indiana Pacers. Oubre Jr. is joining his sixth NBA franchise after four seasons with the Washington Wizards, two seasons with the Phoenix Suns, one season with the Golden State Warriors, two seasons with the Charlotte Hornets and three seasons with the 76ers. In 2025-26, he averaged 14.1 points per game, five rebounds per game, 1.6 assists per game and 1.4 steals per game. Oubre Jr. had a field goal percentage of .467, three point percentage of .360 and free throw percentage of .766.


3) Walker Kessler

The center from Atlanta, Georgia signed a four-year contract worth $130 million with the Lakers after being traded to Los Angeles from Utah for two first round picks in 2031 and 2033 and two second round picks in 2028 and 2030. Kessler only played five games last season with the Jazz because of a torn labrum injury on November 5. He averaged 14.4 points per game, 10.8 rebounds per game, three assists per game, 1.8 blocks per game and 1.4 steals per game. Kessler had a field goal percentage of .703, three point percentage of .750 and free throw percentage of .700.


2) Collin Sexton

The shooting guard from Marietta, Georgia signed a two-year contract worth $19 million with the Lakers. Sexton is joining his fifth NBA franchise after four seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers, three seasons with the Jazz, and sharing last season with the Hornets and Chicago Bulls. In 2025-26 with the Hornets and Bulls, he averaged 15.4 points per game, 3.3 assists per game, 2.3 rebounds per game and 1.1 steals per game. Sexton has a field goal percentage of .485, three point percentage of .401 and a free throw percentage of .855.


1) Norman Powell

The All-Star shooting guard from San Diego, California signed a two-year deal worth $45 million with the Bulls. Powell is joining his fifth NBA franchise after six seasons with the Raptors, two seasons with the Trail Blazers, four seasons with the Clippers and one season with the Heat. In 2025-26 with Miami, Powell averaged 21.7 points per game, 3.5 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists per game and 1.1 steals per game. He had a field goal percentage of .470, three point percentage of .380 and free throw percentage of .827. Powell won the NBA Finals with the Raptors in 2019.
