Week 3 has now concluded in the 2026 National Football League regular season. Here is the top player from this past week at every position in fantasy football.
Quarterback–Brock Purdy
The best team in the NFL over the first three weeks have been the San Francisco 49ers. They are a perfect 3-0 and lead the NFL with a +48 points for and against ratio. On Sunday, the 49ers got a solid performance at quarterback from Brock Purdy of Queen Creek, Arizona. Purdy completed 15 of 27 passes for 297 passing yards and four touchdowns along with seven rushes for 34 yards in a 36-30 49ers win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Running Back–Jahmyr Gibbs
The Detroit Lions improved to 2-1 on Sunday with a 31-24 win over the New York Jets. It was excellent game for Jahmyr Gibbs of Dalton, Georgia, who had 164 total yards (99 yards rushing and 65 yards receiving) and three touchdowns. Gibbs’s third touchdown was the game winning score. It was an 11 yard touchdown catch from Jared Goff with two minutes and 22 seconds left in the fourth quarter and broke a 24-24 deadlock.
Wide Receiver–Jaxon Smith-Njigba
For the second straight week, Jaxon Smith-Njigba of the Seattle Seahawks was the top wide receiver. After a 155 yard performance last week in Arizona, Smith-Njigba had 10 catches for 128 receiving yards and two touchdowns against the Washington Commanders. However, it was not enough as the Seahawks lost to the Commanders 33-31.
Tight End–George Kittle
Purdy’s number one target on Sunday was the experienced tight end from Madison, Wisconsin. George Kittle had six catches for 82 yards and two touchdowns. The major scores were both in the fourth quarter, and were for 10 yards and 20 yards.
Kicker–Spencer Shrader
The Indianapolis Colts won their first game of the year as they defeated the Houston Texans 19-17. It was a notable game by Colts kicker Spencer Shrader of Lithia, Florida. Shrader made four field goals (from 37 yards, 39 yards, 53 yards and 58 yards) and one convert. Shrader’s final field goal was 53 yards and was the game-winning field goal with 16 seconds left in the fourth quarter.
