Week 2 has now concluded in the 2026 National Football League regular season. Here is the top player from this past week at every position in fantasy football.
Quarterback–Josh Allen
We were right in predicting that Josh Allen would be the top quarterback in week two. On Thursday night, we found out how electrifying he actually was. The man from Firebaugh, California was simply on fire as he had 248 passing yards, three touchdown passes, and 69 rushing yards along with two rushing touchdowns in a 41-31 Buffalo Bills win over the Detroit Lions. In all, Allen had 46.82 fantasy points! Wow!
Running Back–Jonathan Taylor
The Indianapolis Colts lost 33-30 in overtime on Sunday, but it was still a decent night for Colts running back Jonathan Taylor as he had 24 rushes for 92 yards and two touchdowns, and four catches for 40 receiving yards.
Wide Receiver–Jaxon Smith-Njigba
The defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks got a spectacular outing from wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba of Nacogdoches, Texas. He had nine catches for 155 receiving yards and three touchdowns in a dominant 31-7 Seahawks win over the Arizona Cardinals. In the process, Smith-Njigba had the first hat trick in his NFL career.
Tight End–Jake Ferguson
The native of Rapid City, South Dakota was electrifying on Sunday in a 37-20 Dallas Cowboys win over the Washington Commanders. Ferguson (who I had on my bench as I started the injured Dallas Goedert) had four catches for 43 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Kicker–Harrison Butker
The native of Decatur, Georgia made four field goals and three converts in the Chiefs overtime win over the Colts. Two of the field goals came in the extra period.
