Top five rookies from Week 7 of the 2024 NFL season

The National Football League is seven weeks complete. Here are the top five rookies from week seven on winning teams. This year we are including kickers.
5) Jake Bates
The Detroit Lions became the first team to beat the Minnesota Vikings this season. In the process, Lions kicker Jake Bates of Tomball, Texas made a game-winning 44 yard field goal in a 31-29 Detroit win. The field goal came with 15 seconds left in the contest. In addition to a 44-yard field goal, the University of Arkansas product made four converts.
4) Ray Davis
For the second straight game, the Buffalo Bills rookie running back was effective on the ground. After being the fourth best rookie in week six, Davis was the fourth best rookie for the second straight week. On Sunday, he had five rushes for 41 yards and one touchdown, and one catch for six yards, as the Bills romped the Titans 34-10.
3) Keon Coleman
Davis was not the only rookie to shine for Buffalo offensively on Sunday. The other was wide receiver Keon Coleman of Opelousas, Louisiana. Coleman had a career day, as he caught four passes for 125 receiving yards. Coleman was the Bills’s second round pick, 33rd overall out of Florida State.
2) Bo Nix
The Denver Broncos rookie quarterback out of Oregon was solid on Thursday night in a 33-10 Denver win over the New Orleans Saints. He completed 16 of 26 passes for 164 passing yards, as well as 75 rushing yards.
1) Brian Thomas Jr.
The Jaguars rookie wide receiver from Walker, Louisiana sizzled at London’s Wembley Stadium on Sunday. In a 32-16 Jaguars win over the New England Patriots, Thomas Jr. had five catches for 89 receiving yards and one touchdown, along with two rushing yards.
