Top five NBA three-point shooters of all-time
January 26, 2021

Stephen Curry had a historic three-point shot on Saturday in Golden State’s 127-108 loss to the Utah Jazz. Let us see where Curry, who is one of only three players ever to have made 2500 three-pointers, is when it comes to the best three-point shooters of all-time. Here is the list of the top five NBA players in three-point shots made.
5) James Harden–The 31-year-old guard from Los Angeles has 2362 three-point shots made in 846 games with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Houston Rockets, and Brooklyn Nets since 2009. Harden also has made 38 three-point shots already this season, 25 with Houston and 13 with Brooklyn.
4) Kyle Korver–The 39-year-old forward from Lakewood, California has always been dangerous from beyond the arc, and that is why he has been able to play for a remarkable 17 NBA seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls, Atlanta Hawks, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Milwaukee Bucks. Undecided on his playing future, Korver has made 2450 three-point shots, despite only leading the NBA in three-points made once in a season–2004-05, when he made 226 three-point shots with Philadelphia.
3) Reggie Miller–The Hall of Famer had 2560 three-points made with the Indiana Pacers from 1987 to 2005. Miller twice led the NBA in three-points made (167 in 1992-93, and 229 in 1996-97). Interestingly, in neither one of those seasons was Miller an all-star.
2) Stephen Curry–On Saturday, Curry passed Miller into second place on the all-time list with 2562. For five straight seasons from 2013 to 2017, Curry led the NBA in three-point shots made, including a career-high 402 shots in 2015-16. The 402 shots Curry made that year was also the most ever for a single season. So far in 2020-21, Curry leads the NBA with 67 three-points made.

He led the NBA with 229 three-pointers while with the Bucks in 2001-02, 201 three-pointers with the Bucks and SuperSonics in 2002-03, and 269 three-pointers while with Seattle in 2005-06.
