Week 10 of the 2019 National Football League season saw three significant upsets on Sunday. The Tennessee Titans upset the Kansas City Chiefs 35-32, the Miami Dolphins upset the Indianapolis Colts 16-12 and the Atlanta Falcons shocked the New Orleans Saints 26-9.

In Nashville, the Titans (5-5) beat a Kansas City Chiefs team (6-4) that was supposed to have no problem beating the Tennessee with their star quarterback, Patrick Mahomes back in the lineup. Mahomes was not the problem as he had a sensational day with 446 passing yards and three touchdowns. The issue for the Chiefs was their susceptible defense. On Sunday, they simply could not stop the run as Derrick Henry was simply sensational. The Titans running back had 188 rushing yards and two touchdowns as Tennessee came through with the three point upset.

In Indianapolis, the Colts (5-4) were not expected to have too many issues with the Dolphins (2-7) even without quarterback Jacoby Brissett out of the lineup with a knee injury. They were 10.5 point favourites.  Problem is Brian Hoyer struggled mightily as the Colts quarterback, as he threw three interceptions. At 34 years of age, it appears Hoyer’s days in the National Football League are numbered and if the Colts are without Brissett for much longer, expect Indianapolis to consider other options at the quarterback position.

In New Orleans, the Saints (7-2) were supposed to steam roll past the Atlanta Falcons (2-7) in this NFC South Division matchup. Heading into the game, there was absolutely nothing to suggest that Atlanta would came away with a win as they were 13 point underdogs. However Drew Brees could not find the end zone, despite finding wide receiver Michael Thomas 13 times for 152 yards. It was Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan who found the end zone twice. In the first half, he threw an eight yard pass to tight end Austin Hooper and in the second half, he threw a 10 yard pass to running back Brian Hill. It was also a strong game for Falcons kicker Younghoe Koo. The native of Seoul, South Korea, who was playing in his first NFL regular season game, made all four of his field goal attempts in the 17 point Atlanta win on the road.
