Randwick Race 8 – Remarque
Remarque has always had a touch of class about him in his short 2 start career that has also seen him win 4 of his 5 barrier trials. The Hawkes team showed confidence in the big brown colt when setting him for a short but high pressure Golden Slipper campaign as a 2yo. He blitzed his rivals at Rosehill on debut before finishing 4th in the Todman and therefore just missed a start.
He’s returned to training with two fantastic trial wins and looks set for a big Golden Rose Run to kick off his 3yo season.
