THE EDGE: NSW Provincial & Country Blackbook 13/9

Every week we give insight into our 3 best runners to follow from the NSW Provincial & Country region so you can add them to your blackbook.

Darilina Belle

4yo b Mare by Deep Field – Zvezdy
Trained by Matthew Smith

This mare is undefeated in 3 starts and is no means going to be under the radar in her next start. However she has been brilliant is definitely one to follow for the future. She was brilliant over 1400 behind a genuine pace 2 starts back and she as good behind a slow pace last start hitting the line well. She looks like she’ll enjoy getting out to the mile no knock on her 7 Furlong form either.

When to bet:

Next start over 1600+

Hemsworth

4yo br Gelding by Reliable Man – Betty Blockbuster

Trained by Kris Lees

Blinkers first time last start and won over 1500 racing 5.4L quicker than the class average. The blinkers seemed to have really sharpened him up and is one to follow with them on.

When to bet:

Next start or not next suitably placed race
