QLD MAROONS VS NSW BLUES –Â WEDNESDAY 11 NOVEMBER, 7:10PM, ANZ STADIUM
It was an all too familiar storyline last week with the Blues looking solid early while enjoying 10 point lead at half time but Queensland’s second-half fight back was one of the greats as they pulled off yet another memorable State of Origin upset to really put some spice back into the series.
The Blues lineup have had all week to think about where it went wrong last week while Wayne Bennett will be looking to keep his QLD team switched on ahead of game 2 tonight.
Line Betting
Some might’ve been surprised to find the Blues were sitting on a line of -8 heading into Game 1, and at first glance, it’s a little surprising to find them at -8.5 following Wednesday’s upset.
Obviously the bookies are factoring in the ANZ advantage here, something that has helped New South Wales immensely over the past few years.
The Blues haven’t lost in Sydney since 2017, while this was also the site of their series clinching win in Game 3 last year.

This should be another tight one with defence playing a big part so the tryscorer markets are going to be hard to pick but we cannot stop thinking about the play early in Game 1 where the Blues shifted the ball to the right where Josh Addo-Carr looked to score before being taken out which tells us they had an initial plan to target his side of the field.
