The NBA trade deadline took place on Thursday. While most of the big names got traded earlier in the week. six notable players got traded near the deadline. Here are the six who have averaged a minimum of 10 points this season.
6) Bogdan Bogdanovic
The shooting guard from Belgrade, Serbia was traded from the Atlanta Hawks to the Los Angeles Clippers for shooting guard Terance Mann, guard Bones Hyland, and a second round pick for the next three years. Bogdanovic is joining his third NBA team after three seasons in Sacramento and five in Atlanta. In 2024-25, he is averaging 10 points per game, 2.8 rebounds per game, and two assists per game. Bogdanovic also has a field goal percentage of .371, three point percentage of .301, and free throw percentage of .882.
5) Caris LeVert
The small forward from Columbus, Ohio was traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Atlanta Hawks. LeVert is joining his fourth NBA team after four seasons with Brooklyn, two seasons with Indiana and three seasons with Cleveland. In 2024-25 with Cleveland, LeVert averaged 10.2 points per game, 3.7 assists per game, and 2.8 rebounds per game. He had a field goal percentage of .453, three point percentage of .405, and free throw percentage of .699.
4) Jonas Valanciunas
The center from Utena, Lithuania was traded from the Washington Wizards to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night for French small forward Sidy Cissoko and two second round picks. Valanciunas is joining his fifth NBA team after seven seasons with the Toronto Raptors, three seasons each with the Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Pelicans and this season with the Wizards. In 2024-25, Valanciunas was averaging 11.5 points per game, 8.2 rebounds per game, and 2.2 assists per game with Washington. He had a field goal percentage of .547, three point percentage of .259, and free throw percentage of .896.
3) Dennis Schroeder
After being part of the Jimmy Butler trade, guard Dennis Schroder of Braunschweig, Germany went from Utah to Detroit, forward K.J. Martin went from Philadelphia to Detroit to Utah, and shooting guard Josh Richardson went from Miami to Utah.
Schroder is joining his ninth NBA team following five seasons with the Atlanta Hawks (2013-2018), two seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder (2018-2020), two season with the Los Angeles Lakers (2020-21 and 2022-23), one season with the Boston Celtics (2021-22), one season with the Houston Rockets (2021-22), one season with the Toronto Raptors (2023-24), two seasons with the Brooklyn Nets (2023-25), and one season with the Golden State Warriors (2024-25). In 47 games this season with the Nets and Warriors, Schroder averaged 14.4 points per game, 5.5 assists per game, 2.6 rebounds per game, and 1.1 steals per game. He has a field goal percentage of .418, three point percentage of .358, and free throw percentage of .842.
2) De’Andre Hunter
The small forward from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was involved in the LeVert trade as Hunter goes from Atlanta to Cleveland. Also going to Atlanta is power forward Georges Niang and three second round picks. Hunter has played the last six seasons for the Hawks. In 2024-25, he is averaging 19 points per game, 3.9 rebounds per game, and 1.5 assists per game. Hunter has a field goal percentage of .461, three point percentage of .393, and free throw percentage of .858.
1) Brandon Ingram
The forward from Kinston, North Carolina was traded from the New Orleans Pelicans to the Toronto Raptors for center Kelly Olynyk of Toronto, Ontario, point guard Bruce Brown, and Toronto’s first two picks in the 2025 NBA Draft.
Ingram is joining his third NBA team after three seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers (2016 to 2019), and six seasons with the New Orleans Pelicans. In 2024-25, Ingram averaged 22.5 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game, and 5.2 assists per game. He also has a field goal percentage of .468, three point percentage of .374, and free throw percentage of .855.
