Sandown Hillside Tip Sheet & Staking Plan: Saturday 1st May
May 1, 2021
With the carnival moving to both South Australia & Queensland there is a rare Saturday meeting at Sandown with the Hillside track playing host to a competitive 9 race card.
The track is currently rated a Good 4. Victorians are set to expect a warm day with a top temperature of 23 degrees. There’s some strong Northerly winds predicted which should mean horses that can get cover from the chute starts to have the best finishes late.
The rail is in the true position. I’m expecting a relatively fair track but as always, horses who can make their luck in running to be the best suited.
