Makarena is a real stand out in this race both controlling on the map and on form. She took the next step last prep winning the G2 Golden Pendant over 1400m at Rosehill. She hasn’t won 1st up yet but is 1/1 over 1300m. Fitness is the only query as she has only had the 1 trial, which she won over 1050m at Randwick.
