The final Sydney meeting for 2024 takes place at Randwick. Our analyst has found an emerging Maher mare that gets in really well at the weights and a Ryan & Alexiou gelding that looks set to improve 2nd up as the Value Play.
Best Selection: R9- Darling Downs
Darling Downs gets into this race well with only 52kg. She was 5 weeks between runs and on a Heavy track when 2.3L 3rd to Shangri La Spring at Rosehill last start. She looked capable of stepping up to Saturday company after a 1.7L victory at Kensington the start prior. She gets a lovely map and looks a nice bet to end the day.

Value Selection: R7- High Blue Sea
This race sets up nicely for High Blue Sea. His final 200m was sensational when 3rd in Midway company last start. He should settle slightly closer from gate 3 and will be well suited by a strong tempo.
