RACING: Warwick Farm Best Selection & Value Play 18/1
February 18, 2026
Midweek Sydney racing heads to Warwick Farm where our analyst likes a Waterhouse/Bott 3yo dropping back in grade with a big map upside and a Pride gelding that looks suited to getting to his home track.

Best Selection: R5- Lancelot Du Lac
The Waterhouse/Bott 3yo returns to midweek company after finishing 3rd to the talented Unleeshing over this trip at Randwick last start. He was hunted out of the gates to cross Nkosi at Randwick last start and Clark struggled to get him to come back underneath him in the middle stages setting it up for the talented Unleeshing. He was good enough to hold on for 3rd with big gaps back through the field.Â

Value Selection: R1- Gus the Great
The Joe Pride gelding kicks of the card on his home track after enduring a wide run before hitting the line solidly behind Providence at Wyong last start. He be suited to jumping from Gate 4 on the bigger Warwick Farm track in a very winnable maiden.Â
