Midweek Sydney racing heads to Rosehill with a +8m Rail. We’ve selected a Hawkes mare returning on the back of an outstanding 3.3L trial win that should be suited by the rail position and a Portelli filly that also caught the eye at the trials.

Best Selection: R5- Ninette
I’m keen to be with Ninette 1st up after black booking her out of an outstanding trial here a fortnight ago. The Hawkes mare was the most impressive trialler of the morning finding the lead easily and bounding away unchallenged for a dominant 3.3L win. The 52.67s time was outstanding and was 1.24s faster than any of the other nine 900m trials on the morning.
She was 2.2L 2nd at Canterbury on debut before a big 2.3L x 4.8L Wyong maiden win where the form has been strong from since. The outside gate and speed inside is a slight concern but having the pace to land first 3 over the Rosehill 1100m with a +8m Rail is a big advantage. Threat of rain shouldn’t be an issue as her big Wyong win came on a Heavy 9.

Value Selection: R1 – Long Legs
Long Legs has looked great recording 3.3L and 1.8L Warwick Farm trial wins. She was less than a length away in 2 Canterbury starts in her debut prep and looks to have come on nicely. If she shows the same speed she has at the trials she should get the cart across with Zsa Zsa.
