Best Selection: R5 & R7- Mortal Halo

Mortal Halo is duel nominated but looks a great bet in either race. He backed up an impressive trial at Rosehill with a dominant 4.5L Scone maiden win. He gets a nice run behind a genuine tempo and looks a progressive type getting in well with only 54.5kg.

Value Selection: R3 – Weekend Market

It’s been easy to forward to the debut of Godolphin/Portelli mare Weekend Market since her awesome 8L Warwick Farm trial win. The competition has to be queried with the 2nd horse beaten 2L at Nowra a week ago but she couldn’t of put them away any more convincingly. She maps to get a great on-speed run from Gate 4 where some of the other better chances will be getting a long way back from bad gates.
