Best Selection: R5- Gringotts

I have to be with G1 George Ryder winner and last year’s Big Dance winner Gringotts in this year’s edition. He has had 2 spaced runs due to a minor set back this prep. He was 2.7L 5th to Via Sistina in the G1 Winx before 0.6L 2nd to Headley Grange in the Alan Brown who he meets 2kg better at the weights. The query has to be where he is at condition wise compared to last year. He ran a very similar figure when 2nd in the Alan Brown leading up to his win last year so I have to put my faith in Maher to have him somewhere around the mark. Get gets a big map advantage over his realistic dangers.

Value Selection: R8 – Accredited

Accredited is a bet at $6. He’s always been classy and resumes with a 5: 2-1-1 1st up record and has 3 wins from 5 at Randwick. He would prefer it Soft than Heavy but 3rd in the much tougher Listed Winter Stakes last prep.
