Racing Tips: Our Sunday Long Shot 3/8

We usually look for horses over $10 in our long shot posts, but we’re going to sneak in a runner at $8.50 as we feel like he is a great play and may start around the $10 mark.
We are keen on two runners where the stables have found much easier races for their runners.
Sandown Race 7: Shiny New Deal

This gelding is now second up from a spell, and he is two wins from three second-up runs.
He also drops from a BM70 to a BM64 and will go up in trip to 1600m, where he is much more suited.
The Bedggood stable has elected to take 2kg off with Bates’ claim, and the good draw should ensure he gets a great run in transit.
